{"id":617,"date":"2020-03-05T04:05:55","date_gmt":"2020-03-05T04:05:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/intercultural.upatras.gr\/?page_id=617"},"modified":"2021-05-11T13:07:59","modified_gmt":"2021-05-11T13:07:59","slug":"unesco-focus-group","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/intercultural.upatras.gr\/?page_id=617","title":{"rendered":"UNESCO focus group"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p> UNESCO has invited organizations and networks to mobilize their stakeholders and partners to conduct focus group consultation sessions on <a href=\"https:\/\/en.unesco.org\/futuresofeducation\/\">the Futures of Education<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpnet.upatras.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/270\/2021\/03\/futuresofEDUunesco.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-674\" width=\"588\" height=\"302\" srcset=\"https:\/\/intercultural.upatras.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/270\/2021\/03\/futuresofEDUunesco.png 313w, https:\/\/intercultural.upatras.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/270\/2021\/03\/futuresofEDUunesco-300x154.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 588px) 100vw, 588px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The insights gained through focus group discussions will be synthesized for <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/7865y7hbehY\">UNESCO&#8217;s International Commission on the Futures of Education<\/a> and will help to shape the global debate.&nbsp;&nbsp;Anne-Claude Lambelet and  Jillaine Farrar  of <a href=\"http:\/\/sietar.ch\/\">SIETAR Switzerland<\/a> have been invited to lead a focus group for this important initiative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this effort, Eugenia Arvanitis (University of Patras, Greece) has been invited to participate as a stakeholder in an international group of  21 intercultural experts. Eugenia contributed to a report  titled <em>Futures of Education: Learning to Become. How should what we learn, how we learn, and where we learn change in the future?<\/em>   as an author and reviewer . The <a href=\"https:\/\/en.unesco.org\/futuresofeducation\/sites\/default\/files\/2021-04\/UNESCO%20Report%20_SIETAR%20Switzerland%20Focus%20Group%20-%2012.4.21.pdf\"><strong>focus group report<\/strong><\/a> that has <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.unesco.org\/futuresofeducation\/news\/rethinking-education-intercultural-lens-contribution-coordinated-society-intercultural\">been accepted by UNESCO<\/a> <\/strong> and published in April 2021.  <\/p>\n\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UNESCO has invited organizations and networks to mobilize their stakeholders and partners to conduct focus group consultation sessions on the Futures of Education.
